Welcome to Battlement to the Bells
Get Connected Website!

This website is a unique, local clearinghouse that quickly and automatically connects volunteers and donors with the nonprofits that need their help. Funded in part by Garfield County, it's all for the benefit of our community, and you can join for free! Sign up and you will automatically receive tailored news about local causes and organizations and how you can get involved, donate goods and services, volunteer by yourself or with your friends for various projects. Join us and help change our community for good!

How to Sign Up:
To register on this website, simply click the red Login/Join button located just below the mountains in the top-of-page photo and the orange navigation bar. A new page will open. Enter your name, email address and areas of interest.

The Battlement to the Bells Get Connected website will use your personal interests to electronically choose events and volunteer opportunities to email to you. You then are matched, and you can change your preferences whenever you like. Your contact information will never be sold to marketers at any time!

Become a Fan: Once you're logged in, visit the Partner Agency Search page and follow the links to the organizations that interest you. On the right side of each organization's page is an orange bar that looks like this:

If you click that bar, the Battlement to the Bells Get Connected website will sign you up to receive emails about that organization's events and volunteer needs.

More Benefits from Your Local United Way

Grants: Like other United Way organizations nationwide, we collect donations from community members -- in the form of payroll deductions, business employee-matching or lump-sum donations, and individual and family donations -- and distribute the pooled funds each year in the form of grants to worthy local nonprofits. Contributions raised in our fall campaign are distributed the following year. A volunteer group of local citizens reviews agency grant requests and determines the level of support to each local organization that applied for funds. Information is disseminated to the public through local media outlets and via this website.

Prescription Discounts: United Way offers local residents the opportunity to save money on prescription medications by obtaining and using a free FamilyWize prescription discount card. To learn more about this program, click this link or the orange FamilyWize card below.

Referrals: United Way of Garfield County is a active participant in Colorado's statewide 2-1-1 information and assistance program. More information about the 2-1-1 Program here in Western Colorado can be found by clicking this link or the 2-1-1 logo below.
